Rapid Deployment

Rapid Deployment training combines standard techniques of law enforcement in a high-impact emergency situation. The training engages students with classroom information and practical exercises to focus on proper movements as a team, room clearing, clearing stairways, and evacuation techniques for injured and non-injured personnel and civilians. Verbalization prior to, during, and after the, use of this type of force and proper de-escalation skills are key components of this session.

Training Requirements:

  • Sworn Personnel - 1.5 hours annually (minimum)
  • Cadets - 3 hours of classroom and 16 hours of hands-on training
  • Recruits - 3 hours of classroom and 8 hours of hands-on training
