Hazardous Materials

Hazardous Materials or HAZMAT training provides instruction on proper procedures to be followed when confronted with substances that may pose a reasonable risk to health, property, or the environment. Specialized instructors deliver course content following federal guidelines.

Training Requirements:

• Sworn Personnel - 1 hour annually
• Cadets - 4 hours of classroom training
• Recruits - 4 hours of classroom training
