Local Training - Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Instructor School

This course, developed by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA), is designed to prepare the student to train police officers in the use of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST) in order to investigate and convict persons who drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Students must achieve a minimum score of 70 percent on a written examination to successfully complete this course.
