ILLINOIS STATE POLICE OFFERS PHYSICAL FITNESS INVENTORY TEST SEMINAR

Seminar will Benefit Individuals Interested in a Career with the ISP

Chicago, IL – Illinois State Police (ISP) officials would like to invite all individuals who are interested in becoming ISP Troopers to participate in a Physical Fitness Inventory Test (PFIT) Seminar being held on Saturday, March 23, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Olivet Nazarene University in the Student Recreation Center located at One University Drive, Bourbonnais, Illinois 60914.  Certified PFIT monitors will be in attendance to provide hands-on instruction on how to successfully pass the ISP PFIT, as well as tips on how individuals can train and prepare for the test. Participation in the seminar does not fulfill the Mandatory PFIT Requirement to become an ISP Trooper.

The four-item PFIT is a practical exercise performance requirement of fitness activities related to law enforcement tasks; passing the PFIT is one of the requirements for becoming an ISP Trooper.  The PFIT assesses the fitness level of individuals based on four dimensions: flexibility, dynamic strength, absolute strength, and cardiovascular respiratory fitness.  Those planning on participating in the seminar should wear proper workout attire and bring a bottle of water.

Those interested in attending the seminar should RSVP by March 20, 2019, with the ISP Recruitment Office. Please see contact information below:
