Unsolved Crimes Introduction
The two most common types of unsolved crimes are murders and missing persons. A shocking number of murders go unsolved each year. The FBI has reported that approximately 40 percent of the nation’s homicides go unsolved. Simply put, people are getting away with murder. In the United States, an average of 90,000 people go missing on a daily basis. While the majority of them end up being found, alive or dead, many of them remain missing.
It is these two types of crimes which are the main focus of this web page. Very seldom does the commission of a crime go unseen.
