Training Tab - How to access the federal Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA) Exchange Portal through the Law Enforcement Enterprise Portal (LEEP). The Illinois State Police Offender Registration Unit will provide all available training documents, tools, guides and forms that are used statewide for law enforcement agencies in Illinois to access at their convenience.

Law Enforcement Requests

Copies of an offenders registration form should be directed to the law enforcement agency in which the offender is currently registering under.

Court document requests should be directed to the county of conviction Circuit Clerks Office or State's Attorneys Office.

Incident report requests should be directed to the local law enforcement agency that was involved in the offenders arrest.

Law enforcement should perform a criminal history review of the offender to assist with identifying the agencies involved.

For all other requests, law enforcement should provide all identifiers of the subject in question before sending their request to ISP.SOR.Unit@illinois.gov
